WordPress Plugin

EU AI Act compliance, one click away.

Install the Origo plugin to automatically attach tamper-evident AI-disclosure provenance to every image you publish — meeting Article 50 transparency obligations without changing your workflow.

Requires WordPress 5.6+ · PHP 7.4+

Three steps to compliance

Download & install

Upload the .zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in your WordPress admin.

Enter your API key

Paste your Origo organization API key into the plugin settings. Don't have one? Contact us to provision your organization.

Publish normally

Every image in a published post is automatically signed with a C2PA manifest and a machine-readable AI-disclosure badge is injected into the article.

What happens behind the scenes

Reads attached image bytes from your WordPress uploads directory
Uploads securely to the Origo signing API with your organization's API key
Attaches a C2PA provenance manifest (cryptographically signed, tamper-evident)
Anchors the image hash on the Polygon blockchain for an independent timestamp
Stores the verification URL in WordPress post meta
Injects the neutral Origo Disclosed badge into the published article

Not on WordPress?

The Origo Compliance API works with any platform. Send a multipart POST with your API key and image file, get back a signed asset with a verification URL.

Example request

POST /api/functions/api-sign-asset
Content-Type: multipart/form-data

api_key: org_your_api_key_here
file: <image bytes>
assertion_type: ai_disclosed
title: "Campaign banner image"
declaration_statement: "AI-generated, disclosed per EU AI Act Art. 50"
